Women Empowerment Forum in Marsabit County brought together over 3,000 women across the region. The forum focused on empowering vulnerable women and widows through enterprises support and access to government empowerment programs.
Leaders who joined the event include madam Harriet Chigai, Presidential advisor on women’s Rights Hon Lady Justice Dorah Chepkwony, the county secretary Representing the Governor ,the area MP Saku constituency ,CEC’s, are MCAS the county Commissioner, the representatives from NGAAF and UWEZO Fund.
Through the distribution of business equipment,Salon kits,posho mills,sewing machines,tents,chairs, umbreallas and coolers.The program aim to create pathways to financial independence and sustainable livelihoods for women across the county.
Galaxy Hospital was providing free medical camp for two days during the event at Marsabit County,Marsabit Town,Marsabit Stadium
